An American actress born Joanne Tannenbaum in New York. She made her onscreen debut on Mad About Music (1938). Other notable works of hers include Girls' School (1938), Girls Under 21 (1940), and Project X (1949). Her last appearance was on Fearless Fagan (1952). She got married twice. She died of heart failure on 9 August 1997 in New York City.
