American actress and novelist. She lived in Harrisburg, Illinois, and Orlando, Florida, before relocating to Los Angeles. She was born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Even while she had always been interested in acting, it wasn't until her final year of high school that she became really passionate about it after appearing in the play "The Miracle Worker." After that, she attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, to study drama. A year after earning her bachelor's degree, she relocated to Los Angeles and quickly obtained a number of acting jobs.
