An American actress, born on October 30, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is the daughter of landscape designer George Gallego. Gina is of Mexican descent and was raised in the Brentwood and West LA areas of Los Angeles. She joined the school's theater club while attending University High School. After her graduation, she studied under the tutelage of Gary Austin, the original director and founder of The Groundlings. She also was able to study with Susan Peretz at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. She is known for Mr. Deeds (2002), Erin Brockovich (2000), and Minority Report (2002).
