An American actor born in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 11, 1882. Alderson was married to actress Lillian Worth (1918-1952), who remained with him until her death. He began his career in silent films, after which he played a number of minor and uncredited roles, including his final film appearance in The Spirit of St. Louis (1957). He's known for Kidnapped (1948), The White Rose (1923), The Heart of Maryland (1927), and The Scarlet Empress (1934). He died on August 4, 1957, at age 74. |
