She is a British-Nigerian actress, born in London, England, UK. She was raised in the USA. After participating in her first school play at the age of seven, she started to love acting. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production with honors from Howard University's John H. Johnson School of Communications. She is known for Them (2021), Luke Cage (2016), and Girls Trip (2017). In recognition of her work in a short film she wrote and directed, she won the Paul Robeson Best Actress prize, and the film won Best Cinematography. |
