A Japanese director, born on June 26, 1931, in Tokyo, Japan. His works include Cyborg 009: Underground Duel (1967) and Saibôgu 009 (1968). His actual directorial debut was in Little Prince and the Eight Headed Dragon (1963). He co-directed over 20 animated television series for Toei Animation ​before retiring in 1988. He died on October 4, 2000.
