An American film and television actor, born as Israel Kominsky in Newcastle, Delaware, USA, on April 24, 1904. He was married twice and had 5 children. Among his notable works are The Black Coin (1936), Where the West Begins (1938) and Overland Mail (1939). He was skilled with horses, which led to him regularly appearing as a cowboy extra in Westerns, as well as in big-budget films, in supporting ethnic roles, especially Mexican ones. He also worked as a stunt double in films. He died of as heart attack in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on April 11, 1982, at age 77.
