An American/Italian actor, born in Agrigento, Sicily, Italy. He was married to actress and singer Marcy McGuire (1947-2015). They had two children, and she remained with him until his death. His most notable works include Sands of Iwo Jima (1949), Story of G.I. Joe (1945), White...Read more Heat (1949), and Sound Off (1952). He was an Italian-American film and television actor and businessman. He went to the United States at the age of two. As a young man, he danced, but abandoned dancing to concentrate on acting. He appeared in numerous war films, westerns, and gangster films, and starred in several television series. He retired from acting in 1964 and became a successful businessman. He died in Palm Desert, California, USA, at the age of 103.
