An American actress, born in Alabama, in the United States, moved with her family to Buffalo, New York, at the age of five. She is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, where she studied theatre, became an honorary professor of theater, and won the title of Actress of the Year while studying at Kent State University. She is also famous for her roles in Defending Your Life (1991), Body of Evidence (1993), and Specters (2004).
