He gained notoriety for being the prime reporter in the Watergate scandal, which resulted in the resignation of former US President Richard Nixon following the publication of a report by Woodward and his colleague Carl Bernstein in the Washington Post. He has written many works, such as All the President’s Men (1976) and Under Siege (1986). |
