An Irish actress, born in London, England, to Irish parents. She moved to Dublin, Ireland at the age of five. She grew up in the small town of Monkstown just outside Dublin, and studied drama and classics at Trinity College, Dublin, graduating with honors, before training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, graduating in 2009. She began her career in theatre, then entered film and television, and is best known for her role as Jess Parker in the science fiction drama series Primeval (2007). Her most notable works include Jet Stream (2013), Trouble Will Find Us (2020), The Christmas Break (2023), and the TV series Finding Joy (2018), Flaked (2016), and The Following (2013).
