A British actress, who was born in Sussex, England, United Kingdom on August 15, 1945 and died in Manhattan, New York, USA on January 3, 2011. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for Exodus (1960). She was never married but befriended actor Sal Mineo and producer Aaron Spelling. She is known for In Harm's Way (1965), Les mysteresde Paris (1962), and The Cardinal (1963). She began appearing as a guest on television in 1963. She received ballet lessons at Sadler Wells Ballet School and joined the Corona Theater School. She appeared as a student in films, such as The 39Steps (1959) and The Brides of Dracula (1960). Her picture was published in a magazine that publishes news of the Corona Theater School. Afterwards, she got the role of Jewish refugee Karen in his Oscar-winning blockbuster Exodus (1960). She went to Broadway in 1966 and participated in a musical for two and a half years and in some horror films in Britain, such as It! (1967). She appeared in a supporting role in the American movie Mergers & Acquisitions, lived in New York, and participated in 2011 with the YMCA voiceover. She died suddenly at the age of 65.
