He was in the finals of the "Cinema Artist Competition" organized by Ses magazine and won first place in the "Photo-novel Artist Competition" organized by the Saklambaç newspaper in 1968. His film debut was in a small role in Yedi adim sonra (1968). Among his notable works are Medcezir Manzaralari (1989), Revenge of the Snakes (1985), and Ah Gardasim (1991).
