He is a Turkish actor and director, born on April 15, 1949, in Fatsa, Ordu, Turkey. During his school years, he appeared in several school plays. After his graduation from Haydarpaşa High School, he went to Marmara University and graduated from the Faculty of Communication, Radio, and Television Department. He was in the finals of the "Cinema Artist Competition" organized by Ses magazine and won first place in the "Photo-novel Artist Competition" organized by the newspaper Hide and Seek in 1968. His first film debut was in a small role in Yedi adim sonra (1968). Among his notable works are Med cezir manzaralari (1989), Yilanlarin Öcü (1985), and Ah Gardasim (1991).
