A Turkish actor and director, born in Fatsa, Ordu, Turkey. During his school years, he appeared in several school plays. After his graduation from Haydarpaşa High School, he went to Marmara University and graduated from the Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio and Television. He was in the finals of the "Cinema Artist Competition" organized by Ses magazine and won first place in the "Photo-novel Artist Competition" organized by the Saklambaç newspaper in 1968. His film debut was in a small role in Yedi adim sonra (1968). Among his notable works are Medcezir Manzaralari (1989), Revenge of the Snakes (1985), and Ah Gardasim (1991).
