English-American actress, born in London, England. She is the daughter of Lydia Thompson, who was one of the giants of the British theater of the nineteenth century. Her works include The Grapes of Wrath (1940), Werewolf of London (1935), and Mystery of Edwin Drood (1935). She died on July 24, 1950, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
