An American film actress, born on March 5, 1894, in New York City., to actor George C. Boniface and his inventor wife Norma (née Ferner) Boniface. Her father was of English descent, and her mother was of German descent, but they were both native New Yorkers. She entered the theater as a playwright and actress, and she also produced plays.
In 1929, following the stock market crash, she started taking small parts in films and appearing in nearly all of Columbia Pictures' short comedy films. She often worked with the Three Stooges, but she worked with Andy Clyde as well. Symona Boniface died on September 2, 1950, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, at the age of 56 of pancreatic cancer.
