An American actor, born in New York City, New York, USA, on July 29, 1894, as Charles Cahill Wilson. His most notable works include Blazing Across the Pecos (1948), It Happened One Night (1934), The Case of the Stuttering Bishop (1937), and The Return of Doctor X (1939). Wilson was a prolific theater and film actor who worked during the Golden Age of Hollywood from the late 1920s until the late 1940s. He is better known for his work on productions by Columbia Pictures. He also performed in six plays on Broadway. Charles C. Wilson died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on January 7, 1948, of esophageal hemorrhage at the age of 53.
