A Greenlandic singer, songwriter and actress, born in 1979 in Nuuk, Greenland. She spent most of her youth in Nuuk, and spent a year abroad in Spain before attending Red Cross Nordic United World College in Norway. She then earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and a master's degree in Visual Anthropology from Goldsmiths College in the United Kingdom. She returned to her homeland to work for Greenland National TV and radio as a researcher, producer, and eventually a presenter, an experience that led her to land roles in numerous shows and documentaries. She's known for The New World (2005) and The North Water (2021).
