An American actor, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on December 20, 1906. His most notable work includes The Black Arrow (1948), Tripoli (1950), and Plymouth Adventure (1952). Lowell Gilmore began his career by working as a theater director on Broadway in 1929, then worked on Broadway as an actor from 1930 to 1943. He made his film debut in Hay Fever (1939), and his first television appearance was in The Living Christ Series (1951). Lowell Gilmore's final role was in the 1958 television series The Adventures of Jim Bowie. He died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on January 31, 1960.
