An American actress, born in Charleston, West Virginia, on March 6, 1930. Her most notable work includes Gunslinger (1956), and The Undead (1957). Allison Hayes won the Miss District of Columbia title, representing the capital in the Miss America pageant in 1949, which gave her the opportunity to work on local television, before moving to Hollywood to work at Universal Pictures in 1954. Alison Hayes made her debut in Girls in the Night (1953). She participated in television series, and in some horror movies, until she starred in the movie Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958), and then appeared in a series of Western movies, including A Lust to Kill (1958). In 1963, she got a role in the series General Hospital, but she began to suffer from health problems, and was unable to walk without a stick. She made her final appearance in two episodes of the 1967 television series Gomer Pyle. She died in San Diego, California, on February 27, 1977.
