British actress, dancer, and musician, born in West Ham, London, England, United Kingdom. After learning ballet at a nearby dancing school and attending a French Catholic school in Palmers Green, she continued her education at the Aida Foster Theatre School. Robin Hood and His Merry Men was the first pantomime in which she and her twin sister Pamela participated. The two sisters then went on to perform in other pantomimes together. When she was still a youngster in the late 1940s, she made her cinema debut in small, uncredited roles. She appeared in dozens of films and series, including The Shining (1980), Mister Ten Per Cent (1967), The Battle of Britain (1969), and The Saint (1962-1969). She died at the age of 88 from complications of coronavirus on January 14, 2021.
