A British-Irish actress who grew up in South Manchester. She studied stage and screen acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. She became inspired by theater to become an actress but in her career, she has worked so far more extensively in television and film. Her biggest role was playing Elizabeth I in the miniseries Queens. She is based in London where she is represented by Keddie Scott Associates, and is represented by the Bohemia Group in Los Angeles. Some of her works are The Capture, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Soulmates.
