An American dancer, born on June 26, 1940 in New York, USA. She is known as one of the well-known figures in contemporary expressive performance and one of the most important expressive performance designers of the current era. She began her artistic career at the Judson Theater for Expressive Performance in 1963; She designed 13 expressive performances and co-starred with Yvonne Rayner, Steve Paxton, and Robert Morris. She created her own troupe in 1973 and designed more than 50 works of expressive solo and ensemble performances. She also appeared in many important works by Robert Wilson. She worked with Robert Wilson and Mikhail Baryshnikov on Wilson's new production, Letter to a Man, which premiered in Spoleto, Italy in 2015. The short film Prune. Flat. is one of her early works.
