An American actress, writer, director, and producer, born on April 3, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. She has been a member of the faculty at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and USC School of Cinematic Arts. She appeared on several talk shows including The Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight and Kathy & Regis. She made her debut in the TV movie The Last Tenant (1978). She is known for Arthur (1981), My Favorite Year (1982), and The Amati Girls (2000).
