An American writer, producer, and actress born on June 9, 1956, in Miami, Florida, USA. She was previously married to Charles Cornwell, and they divorced in 1989. She married Staci Gruber in 2005. She graduated in 1979 with a degree In arts. In the late 1970s, she worked for the Charlotte Osover journalist. In 1984, got a job at the Virginia medical examiner's office and worked for six years in the mortuary as a police reporter. She helped found the Virginia Institute of Forensic Sciences, and her first book was an autobiographical book on Ruth Bell Graham. The movie The Front (2010) is considered one of her most famous fictional works that was dapated into a cinematic work. She starred in the movie At Risk (2010).
