• A British actress, born in Southampton, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom. In 1957, she married cinematographer Michael Boultbee in Nairobi. She is known for Night Train to Paris...Read more (1964), Secret Agent (1965), and The Avengers (1964). She appeared in supporting roles in B-films and television episodes in the 1950s and 1960s. She was evacuated at the age of ten during World War II to Houghton, Hampshire, where she appeared in amateur plays to entertain the troops. She studied elocution at the age of 13 and joined a theater company, appearing on stage in London at the age of 17. Her first film was Lady in the Fog (1952), and her first television work was BBC Sunday-Night Theatre (1953). She retired from acting in 1965 after her last film, Night Train to Paris (1964). She died in Winchester, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom, on October 25, 2012, from complications of a stroke.
