    Dalia Saad

    An American actor, born in New York City, on October 31, 1880, and died in Walden Hills, Los Angeles, California, on January 13, 1966. His most notable work includes Great Expectations (1934), College Scandal (1935), and 20,000 Men a Year (1939). Douglas Wood first appeared on stage in 1895, when he accompanied his mother, the stage actress Ida Jeffreys. He participated in the silent film National Red Cross Pageant (1917), but he went back to the theater again, and returned to cinema in the mid-thirties, when he presented the film Bottoms Up (1934) at the age of 54. He continued his cinematic work in supporting roles. In the fifties he participated in a number of works on television. Douglas Wood presented his last movie, That Certain Feeling (1956), and then retired from acting.
