Add/Update Information: Alaa Mosbah - Writer

Egyptian writer and director, who graduated from the American University in Cairo and received a Fulbright Scholarship to study cinema at Columbia University in 2017. He produced and directed a number of television documentaries for international networks. He also participated in many film festivals and workshops around the world. Mosbah was an assistant director in the film What Comes Around (2018), which premiered at Berlinale Panorama 2018. His short film “Tariq” premiered at the 2012 Doha Tribeca Film Festival. He also won the International Critics Jury Prize from the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival for the film Café Regular, Cairo (2012). Mosbah published a number of books, the most famous of which is “This Is America.”
