An English actor born in London, UK. He made his stage debut on the West End in 1928. He made his onscreen debut on the film Farewell to the Pegasus (1947) and his final appearance on Unsere Hagenbecks (1994). His other works include Strife (1960) and Breakaway (1980). He married once and had one child. He died on 16 October 1995 in London, UK.
