A British actor, born in Exeter, Devon, England, UK, on February 16, 1907, as George Arthur Woodbridge. His notable work includes The Naked Heart (1950), Horror of Dracula (1958), Murder in the Cathedral (1951), and Son of Robin Hood (1958). Woodbridge's career extended from the 1930s to the 1970s. He worked in film, on television, and on stage. He made his screen debut in the TV movie Cymbeline (1937) and his last appearance was in the TV series The Magical World of Disney (1974). He died in London, England, on March 31, 1973, at the age of 66.
