A British actress, writer, producer, and director, who was nominated for an Oscar in 1975 and 1977. She studied pantomime at the end of 1959. In the mid-1970s, she made three short silent comedies that were nominated for various awards. She directed, co-wrote, and co-produced the Academy Award-nominated short film The Concert (1974). She is also known The Morning Spider (1976) and Blow-Up (1966), in which she starred.
