An Italian-American actor, born in Italy as Stephen E. Soldi. He worked in the local theater, and in the early thirties, he traveled to America and appeared in some American theaters. Then he went to Hollywood and appeared in small roles. His first film was Anna Karenina (1935), followed by A Night at the Opera (1935). His works continued in supporting roles. He worked in TV shows, and his last appearance was in The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin (1967). He married Amelia Rose Pengue (1922-1969), they had a child, and she remained with him until her death. He's known for The Man Called X (1957). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 4, 1974.
