An American actress, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on August 28, 1921, and died in Palm Desert, California, on February 3, 1991, of cancer. Nancy Kulp was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1967 and a Grammy Award in 1989. Her most notable works are The Beverly Hillbillies, The...Read more Aristocats, The Parent Trap, and Shane. She became involved in politics and ran for Congress in 1984 for Pennsylvania's 9th congressional district. After her defeat in the elections, she worked at a private liberal arts college in Pennsylvania as an artist-in-residence, continued her theatrical appearances and participated in many charitable organizations. She retired in Palm Springs until her death.
