His most important works are White Woman (1933), Lay on, MacDuff (1928), Nada más que una mujer (1934), and A Woman Is the Judge (1939). He began his cinematic career in the mid-twenties and played small roles, such as a boxer, sailor, and prisoner, He debuted in the silent film The GoldRush (1925), and his first talking movie was The Spieler (1928). He participated in more than 200 feature films and participated as a guest on TV series, and his last appearance was in Robin and the 7 Hoods (1964). He died at the age of 83 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA on May 11, 1981.
