She and her sister, Vanessa...Read more Redgrave, were both nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 1967. She received the 2004 Barrymore Award (given by Theatre Philadelphia) for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Play for "Collected Stories." She won the 2006 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award. Her works include Smashing Time (1967) and The Virgin Soldiers (1969). She was married to actor/director John Clark. Lynn was appointed OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2002 Queen's New Year Honours List for her services to drama. She died on May 2, 2010, in Kent, Connecticut, USA.
