A British actor, born on March 29, 1928, in Marylebone, London, England, United Kingdom, as Roy James Locke. His works include Thunderball (1965), Doing Time (1979), and Oliver Twist (1982). He was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and also played the role of Professor Moriarty on Broadway in "Sherlock Holmes" (1974-1976) and appeared in "Amadeus" at the Royal National Theatre. ​He died on April 19, 2004, in Dedham, Essex, England, United Kingdom
