His graduation project, The Yellow Tulip, won the Mohamed Baioumy Prize at the Alexandria Mediterranean Countries Film Festival in 2016. The script of his first feature film, Kafr Abdu, received a certificate of appreciation at the Mamdouh Al Laithy competition at the same festival in 2017. His third short documentary film, The Daily Life of a Shoeshiner, was screened in the Panorama section of the Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts in 2019 and was selected to be screened in the official competition at the Durban International Film Festival in South Africa in 2019.
