An American actor, he was born in the Bronx on August 5, 1922. He was married twice and had no children. He served in the US Army Air Force, as a pilot during World War II. He co-founded a theater group in Hartford in 1946, and appeared on stage in the East Coast and California. His first debut was through the series Lux Video Theater (1950) and continued to work until he presented his last work, Little Fish, Strange Pond (2009). His most important works: Down on Us (1984), The Fugitive (1964-1965), The Name of the Game (1979) and That Girl (1967-1969). He died of kidney cancer in 2010 at the age of 87.
