He spent quite a bit of time being an assistant director for television. Bikram has also spent almost 6 years as an actor to work with numerous theatre groups and has acted in some TV soaps as well. His student short has been awarded by Ooty Film Festival as the Best Film award and has been screened by various international festivals. Bikram has also studied Filmmaking from NFTS, United Kingdom, and is still learning and improving his skills. 'Obhyesh' is his debut short.
