An American actor. He was born in Long Island City, New York on June 5, 1912. He won a Golden Boot award in 2000. He has been married twice and has no children. He was drafted into the United States Marine Corps during World War II, and was awarded a Silver Star for his bravery in a tank battle. He made his first movie, A Yank at Eaton in 1942. The most important works of Gregg Barton are: The Gunman (1952), Sergeant Preston of the Yukon (1955), The Gene Autry Show (1950-1955) and Tripoli (1950). He died in 2000 at the age of 88. |
