An American actor born in Chicago, Illinois, USA on November 20, 1894 and died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA on January 26, 1954 when he committed suicide by shooting. He married Mary (1939-1954), and she remained with him until his death. He worked as a supporting actor, who started his life at the end of the silent cinema era and continued his work after sound was introduced to films until the mid-fifties. He presented a large number of films. His last appearance was in the movie Dangerous Mission (1954). He suffered from an illness that made it difficult for him to eat or sleep, so he ended his life with a gunshot at the age of 59. |
