A Mexican-Canadian film director and actress, born in Mexico City, Mexico. She immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 13. She grew up in White Rock, British Columbia, and graduated with a BA with Honors in Motion Picture Production from Capilano University. She also teaches directing at the Vancouver Film School. Hailed as one of the best-emerging directors in the horror genre, she is also an actress and best known for her voiceover work such as Super Monstros: Nova Turma. Her other credits include V/H/S/85, Bingo Hell, and Satanic Hispanics. |
