An American actor and stunt performer, born in Medford, Wisconsin, USA, as Earl John Perkins. He married Ruth Cora Aldrich (1949-1998), who remained with him until his death. He is known for The Wild Wild West (1966), Star Trek (1968), and Fuzz (1972). He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He played football at the University of Wisconsin and debuted as an actor and double in Soldiers of Fortune (1956) and The Badlanders (1958). His film and television work continued in supporting roles and small roles, such as a miner, gang member, prisoner, thief, drunkard, officer, soldier, security guard, traveler, gambler, barman, salesman, and merchant. His last work was Automan (1983). He died in Van Nuys, California, USA, on March 7, 1998.
