She was a French-American actress, director, and writer, born on August 6, 1925, in Paris, France. She taught acting at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. Her notable works include Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), Predator 2 (1990), Universal Soldier (1992), and Catch Me If You Can (2002). She died on June 26, 2008, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
