She went to Hollywood at the age of 12. She began her cinematic career as a dancer in films such as Living in a Big Way (1947) and Singin' in the Rain (1952). She worked in cinema, TV, and theater. Her last role was in The Partners (1971), then she devoted herself to choreography for films and television, and continued her career in theater, nightclubs, films, and television, which spanned 50 years until the 1990s. She retired afterwards.
