An American singer and composer, born on March 8, 1947, in New York City, USA. Her father is Eli Bayer and her mother is Anita Bayer. She was married to Burt Bacharach and they had one kid together, Christopher Elton Bacharach. She attended the High School of Music & Art in Manhattan, where she wrote her first song for the band The Mindbenders, under the name "A Groovy Kind of Love". She then transferred to New York University and majored in performing arts. She is known for The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Arthur (1981), and Junior (1994).
