British dancer and actress, born on September 17, 1934 in Kent, England, United Kingdom. Her husband was the famous American choreographer David Gordon and their son is the writer Ain Gordon. She trained in ballet with Marie Rambert and Audrey De Vos. She went to the United States and worked with the improvisational dance company, The Grand Union. She is best known for Mighty Aphrodite (1995), Everyone Says I Love You (1996) and Doubt (2008).
