An American actor born in Cicero, Illinois, USA on July 28, 1912, and died in Los Angeles, California, USA on June 13, 1979. His most important works are Jungle Jim (1956), Dennis the Menace (1960-1963), and The Ford Television Theatre (TV Series 1952–1957). He performed more than a hundred roles during his two decades in film and television, mostly in Hollywood productions. He played background roles, such as the roles of policemen and bartenders. His first movie was Call Northside 777 (1948), and his last series was Bonanza (1970). He died in 1979 at the age of 67.
