A British actor born in Stockwell, on December 23, 1932. In 1964, he married the Italian actress and translator Yole Marinelli. He was born in a artistic family, both of his parents were supporting actors. His mother made him participate in a film with her in 1944. His most important works: Vacation from Marriage (1945), Jack the Ripper (1988), The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) and The Saint (1963). He died in 2001 at the age of 68.
