A British actress born in London, on February 2, 1930. She got married to Anthony Gerald Samuel (1966-2001) and remained with him until his death. She studied on a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and began her artistic acting activity at the age of 18. Her first film was, What the Butler Saw (1950). She continued to work in film and television until she presented her last work, Rule of Three (1963). She stopped working when she married the owner of a horse race, the chairman of the board of directors of a publishing company, and the grandson of the founder of Shell. Among her most important works are: Dentist on the Job (1961), Paradise Lagoon (1957), The Beggar's Opera (1953), and Sing Along with Me (1952).She passed away in 2015 at the age of 85.
